Vacation Horse Camps

Because the best memories are made in boots, with hay in your hair and a horse by your side.

At Twisted Pine Stables, we believe childhood should be full of dirt, laughter, and big adventures and there’s no better place for that than the barn. Whether it's the height of summer or a mid-school-year break, our camps offer kids a chance to saddle up, and spend their days immersed in fresh air, friendly animals, and fun.

From the moment campers arrive, they’re welcomed like family and encouraged to try new things, build confidence, and make connections with animals, with nature, and with each other. It’s not just about riding (though there’s plenty of that!). It’s about learning responsibility, celebrating small victories, and leaving each day a little braver and a lot dirtier.

So whether your child is a first-time rider, a farm animal fanatic, or just an animal lover, our summer and vacation camps offer something truly special. a barn-full of joy, growth, and pony-powered magic.

  • Campers receive personalized riding instruction every day in a group lesson setting. We match horses and ponies to each child’s comfort and skill level, ensuring a safe and fun experience!

  • Campers roll up their sleeves and dive into real barn life grooming horses, mucking stalls, feeding goats, pigs, and chickens, collecting eggs, and pitching in with daily chores. It’s hands-on learning, responsibility in disguise, and a whole lot of fun!

  • Once riders are confident, we hit the trails around our peaceful property for guided rides through the fields and woods an unforgettable experience and a big confidence boost!

  • To keep the energy high and the smiles wide, we mix in games, water play on hot days, scavenger hunts, creative crafts, and silly team challenges. Camp activities change each day, so no two days are exactly the same!

Whether it’s February break or April vacation, kids can expect all the good stuff they love about summer camp just with a few extra layers or rain boots thrown in!

  • Winter at the barn is full of frosty fun and warm-hearted memories! Campers bundle up for sledding adventures, help with winter horse care like grooming fuzzy ponies and learning how to blanket them, then come inside for heated breaks with cocoa and warm snacks. When it’s too chilly to ride, we keep the fun going with indoor barn games, hands-on crafts, and plenty of laughs!
